Sage MMS End of Mainstream Support by 30th September 2013
Sage Mid-Market Solution (MMS) evolved from Line 100 in 2003 before evolving again into Sage 200 in 2007. While many customers have already migrated to Sage 200, Sage still have a number of active MMS customers in the UK. Currently, Sage offer full Mainstream Support for MMS via their Sage Annual Licence Plan (SALP) or SageCover. This currently includes legislative software updates and access to technical and developer support for Partners.
Next year, from 30 September 2013, Sage will be changing the type of support offered for MMS customers.
At this time Sage MMS will move into a phase of extended support meaning whilst Sage will still provide technical support, enable strings and the facility for existing customers to add users or modules to their systems, they will stop producing software updates related to MMS. At this time Sage will no longer guarantee that MMS will be legislatively compliant and we’ll cease to offer support for MMS through the Mid-Market Developers Programme.
These changes will allow us to focus our R&D and support resources on the Sage 200 Suite, which has more advanced software features and customisation tools and is Sage’s primary solution for mid-sized businesses.
Sage Line 100 End of Life
Sage Line 100 ended having mainstream support with effect from 30 September 2012 and will reach end of life by 31 March 2014. Currently Sage Line 100 has moved into a phase of Extended Support.
